No jobs could be found!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I downloaded that app and put in the nessessary information, it tells me that "No jobs could be found. Do I need to wait until there is a job opening in my area or are there some areas that dont have any jobs?
-
Right now there are some areas that do not have jobs. If you don't see a job on your screen, that means that all of the jobs for your area have already been reserved, or that there are not any available. Our jobs are posted based on Client needs. Many jobs are state, zipcode, or even store specific. Those jobs will show up to the Agents that are within those parameters. There might not be a job for your area right now, but there could be this afternoon, or tomorrow. There might have been one yesterday, but other Agents around you claimed it before you saw it. We are working hard to provide more jobs for everyone, but it is a process. We just ask for your patience while we accumulate those!! Keep checking back!
-
Steve Huff May 07, 2010 16:30Kristi, any chance we could get historical data for job availability for zipcodes or other areas? For example, I'd like to be able to find out if, during the past month, there were 1 job or 100 jobs available in my area; if there are very rarely any jobs showing up in my area, I'd rather know that, so that I don't keep checking the app and being disappointed.EditDeleteRemove

I like Steve's suggestion. I've been consistently frustrated with the lack of jobs. If I knew there HAVE been jobs available though, I'd be more likely to continue to use your product.

Just Keep Checking From Time To Time They Will Show

There are 28,000 agents and when a job for 1,000 people is submitted it goes fast. Over time there will be more and more jobs posted. Over the past two weeks over 5,000 jobs have been submitted and completed by Agents.
-
People are just going to have to be patient and allow this organization to work out the kinks.. No one said this would be a full time job! I am satisfied!

I'm starting to think that these 5,000 jobs that were submitted, certainly weren't submitted in my area at all (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma). I've been checking every single day just hoping that even one job would show up, and there is absolutely nothing. I'm starting to think that this application was a waste of my time all together. I'm going to give it another week, and if nothing shows, then it's good-bye Field Agent.
It's one thing if I lived in a rather small city, but I live in Oklahoma City, which has a population of 3,687,050 est., so one would think there would be at least one job.

i know jobs pop in my area all the time and im in a smaller kith than yours by far. as far as being a waste of your time not only is field agent free to use but how much of your precious time does it really take to check the app once or twice a day? maybe a min. at most. y'all definitely wasted more time taking that cheesy picture than checking the app... relax and be patient..

I think posting a "Job History" section is the best solution for you to prevent losing Agents. If you really had 5,000 jobs recently, list them and their zip codes for Agents to see. Also, many mystery shopping companies also list who some of their top clients are (McDonald's, Barnes & Noble, etc). Doing this will bring some extra credibility.

I’m
thankful
Devin,
Many of our jobs are "location independent", meaning that the first X number of Agents nationwide to accept them, get them. We are adding thousands of Agents a day right now, so competition for jobs is really high.
I understand your frustration and apologize for it, but right now it's harder to find jobs in bigger cities because there is more competition between Agents. An OKC, LA, or Philadelphia will be harder to find consistent work in.
One issue is that jobs disappear from your app as soon as they are completed. You may start up your app and see no jobs, but there may have been 3 jobs completed 10 minutes earlier. Until notifications are implemented or something like nmb is suggesting is built in, it's impossible to know how many jobs are in your area. Just know that we are working on a solution, but it will take some time.
Again, I'm sorry for your frustration and just ask for understanding and patience as we work to build a great system for Clients and Agents. -
-
Steve's suggestion should be implemented, post-haste. I live in LA and just downloaded the app, only to be greeted with "No jobs available!". Really? None in all of LA, city of 11 million people and thousands of company headquarters?
If I could see a 30 day history, at least it would lend some credibility to your company. Obviously you're new and need time to grow, and I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but only for a very short time if things don't improve. This would be a simple fix to increase confidence among your users and add legitimacy to your efforts. Thanks! -
-
Leslie, I couldn't agree more. When you see "No jobs available", makes you start to wonder about the credibility of this company. I would think that they would have already implemented a space in the program to show statistics as to the number of jobs in your area, or to even simplify it better, show the number of jobs posted and completed per state. As with any new company, they need time to grow but just leaving us in the dark to say that the jobs posted are taken immediately without even something showing us this, makes me wonder... I'm trying to keep my confidence in tack while they grow, but it can be difficult. Here's hanging in there.

I can attest to the fact that there are jobs out there. I was able to complete 2 in about a weeks time. There were several more that were available, but I couldn't accept them at that time because I was busy with my actual job.
The two jobs I accepted were able to be completed in my own town of Napa. Some of the jobs that I was not able to accept stayed available for over a week, but again, I couldn't get away to take care of them.
I think this app is great and I would recommend just hanging in there and checking frequently. -
-
I'm glad to hear that someone is actually seeing jobs out there. I'm doing my best to hang in there, and patiently wait, hoping for some jobs to show up.

Hundreds of negative reviews have accumulated on the App Store from frustrated users. Upon finding no work, many have suggested that FieldAgent may be a spam herder or even engaged in phishing. It is also possible that an unanticipated success in lining up Agents outpaced the volume (or geography) of available work. I believe the answer lies somewhere between, that seeing no "cost" to lining up tens of thousands of Agents, these were recruited speculatively - that is, in advance of lining up a similar volume or geographic distribution of clients or work.
I think FieldAgent should be made aware that 1) there is a "cost" in user time and attention in repeatedly checking the app, and the legitimate frustration people are expressing is likely to damage its reputation 2) there is also a "cost" to agents in sharing personal information required by the app, and when no return is forthcoming, users will be both legitimately angry and legitimately suspicious. And user opinions should not be taken lightly, now that it has resulted in a 1-star (out of five) rating for FieldAgent on the App Store, the main point of recruitment.
I think a posted privacy policy (really, guys - that's STANDARD for websites that take personal info!) would go a long way in earning trust in the use of our personal data and quieting down some of the vitriol.
FieldAgent may now be learning that "managing growth" is often the hardest challenge of a new small business; you don't engage people unless you can deliver what you - implicity or otherwise - promise.- view 2 more comments

Yes, it's a legit app. I collected the money in my Field agent account for a long time and just recently cashed out a few hundred $$$. :-)))
-
-
Absolutely legit! I've had the app for a few weeks and in that time have made and received $62.50! I live in a smaller town est pop 380,000 and have little competition for these jobs (i think). I have only seen jobs get accepted and finished a few times by anyone other than myself. This app is AMAZING and I can't wait to see what opportunitites open up as they continue to grow.

Mark,
Your suggestion of, "It is also possible that an unanticipated success in lining up Agents outpaced the volume (or geography) of available work." is right on.
I really believe that if everyone had visibility of what we are doing, everyone would understand the challenges and be more patient.
Consider the fact that we launched about 3 weeks ago, from scratch. We approached our launch like this: we signed up 3 of the largest companies in the world to create jobs for us at launch. In the first couple of days, 400 Agents had done about 2,000 jobs. Think about that scale. That means on average, we need 2.5 jobs for every Agent, every day. Last week, after Apple added us to the "New and Noteworthy" section (which we did not request). We went from 8,000 Agents to 40,000 in 7 days. Now that we have 40,000 Agents, we need 100,000 jobs a day to keep everyone happy. At a low average cost of $4 per job, that's $400,000 in revenue a day that we would have to earn within 3 weeks of our company's launch. That's scary big math and I seriously doubt any start-up has ever accomplished such a task.
Please know that we are working as hard as we can to get more jobs in the system. Believe it or not, every week there are new jobs in all 50 states. To date, we have had more than 10,000 jobs completed and some Agents have made more than $100 doing work. There is a major problem in large cities because there are more people, more iPhones and more Agents to compete with, but not necessarily more jobs than a mid-sized city.
As for the Privacy Policy, we have one and I actually thought it was online. I've sent an e-mail requesting it be put on the homepage ASAP. That was a simple, but costly oversight. Thanks for pointing it out.
We VERY MUCH appreciate all of our Agents and hope that a little perspective will gain a little understanding.- view 2 more comments

Not sure if this is at all possible, but how 'bout not signing up any more agents for the time being? It is understandable how you signed up so many agents so quickly, but didn't you see this coming? A free app that promises easy work for real money that you can do from your phone?
It just seems like if you don't have enough jobs (and from the looks of it, you won't have nearly enough for the number of agents any time soon), a good solution is to stop letting people sign up, at least until you can get things under control.
People have to see that this works, otherwise it is destined to fail. And if you are signing up 10 (or however many) times as many agents as you are lining up jobs, you'll never catch up unless you stop taking agents (or get a huge influx of jobs, which you yourself said is pretty unlikely, at least before the negative press kills you).
I do believe this is legitimate (I was lucky to find one job and made $1.60 pretty quickly after I downloaded the app), but with the number of scams out there of this very nature, you have to understand how people would get the idea that this is a scam when they've given you their information and not gotten anything in return.
Just a suggestion, like I said, I don't know how or if you can do it, but it seems like the best thing to me. Of course, I've already signed up :) -
-
aeh1978, I appreciate the suggestion, but it's just not that easy. There are 3 main issues with your suggestion: 1) Apple doesn't allow us to pull down our app and throw it back up when needed. 2) We've received a lot of press and reviews and all of them link to us to be downloaded. If those links went dead, we would burn bridges in the media world which we will need in the future. 3) Believe it or not, there are areas of the country where we still need Agents to do jobs. We have jobs sitting out there that are not complete after 14 days. If we stop new sign ups, then we will never be able to complete jobs at those locations.
The best way for us to solve the issue is through simple supply and demand principles. If we lower the payout for the jobs, less people will want them and more will be available for those who are willing to do them for less money. We just don't want to go there. That is why we are holding the payout level and trying our best to deal with the negative sentiment about the lack of jobs, which is really a problem of very fast completion of jobs.
Thanks again for taking the time to make a suggestion. -

I agree with David that explaining the difficulties Field Agent is experiencing in a blog would go a long way toward pacifiying frustrated agents. I'm still a big fan, but I must admit I haven't seen a job of any kind in over a week.
I live in a town of approximately 30,000 people and within the first week of downloading Field Agent, I had completed 4 jobs (mostly at Walmart) and earned almost $10. I was very impressed that the app had delivered what it promised.
But in the last few weeks, I have seen virtually no new jobs. I originally attributed this to a technical error but after reading this thread, it seems obvious that this was a result of the influx of new Agents. I think it's important that this information is readily available to agents. If I had not had such a positive experience to begin with, I might have deleted the app all together rather than digging through the comments section of this webpage to find the answer. -
-
I have seen the same trend as t.eber - I would see about 1-2 jobs a day posted but haven't seen one pop up in over a week. Not sure what the cause is. Thought it was a technical issue but now I'm not sure...I'm in the Chicago area
-
-
The previous job history is a great idea and should be implemented. Again, I'm in OKC and have been waiting for a job to show up on my list and still nothing... I was in Dallas over the weekend which just crushed my confidence again with yet no jobs! I actually deleted your app. Last night the app was featured on OKC Channel 4 (KFOR) so I'm hopping that will increase the number of jobs to at least 1 so I re-downloaded the app and am giving it one last go. Nothing yet but we shall see...
-
The lack of jobs is a DIRECT correlation to the number of Agents signed up and using the app. We have several new Clients and are posting a good number of jobs. The first week or two we had about 8,000 Agents. We are now over 47,000. The big cities naturally have more people, more iPhones and more Agents. Please understand that it will be harder to get jobs in big cities due to the competitiveness.
I'll encourage you to stick with us as we have some pretty exciting things on the horizon. If you want to take a couple of weeks off, go for it, but I'd love it if you'd keep the App. -

Awesome I completed my first job today. All I had to do was take a picture and say what the price was. I was getting discouraged just like a lot of you guys but when I checked today their was about 10 jobs listed. I live in Louisville Kentucky if that helps any of you.

Yup. Same problem here. Minneapolis / St Paul area.
Just deleted the app -

I would just like to submit a suggestion to the Field Agent management: This really is a GREAT concept you folks have. I can attest there ARE jobs out there, they seem to populate all at once now - I will admit it has been a feast or famine scenario for me but i would just like to suggest what one of the earlier posters suggested - I think the company should cap the number of agents @ 10k instead of the current roster of 47k - When people get a bad impression, they usually will not come back to the organization - and maybe worse, they will go tell everyone they know not to get involved with Field Agent. I don't think that serves the interest of the client or the agent very well. Perhaps establish a waiting list for prospective agents. When one agent leaves, a vacancy is created and a new member can join. Thats how it goes in the business world and perhaps that would be a good idea for Field Agent as well. I don't think having an unlimited number of agents out there is going to do anyone any good and its certainly not good for morale as we have seen.
-
benemma80, your suggestion has merit, but in practice I can't see it working.
Most of our jobs are location specific, so if we lost an Agent (which is hard for us to know because they can have the app and just never check it) we would have to replace them with an Agent in the exact same place. Also, if we left the App on the App Store and refused new sign-ups, you can imagine the rating our App would get. I cringe thinking about it.
For more info, read my response in the string above to aeh1978's question.
Thanks! -

John - thanks for taking the time to answer questions. Lo and behold, today the Sam's Club jobs popped up. Given the amount of Sam's Clubs in the US, I'm guessing that a lot of agents have seen these jobs. Yes, of course you're outnumbered by agents to clients so far, and of course you're growing at an insane rate...however, you haven't answered the suggestion of providing recent job history by area so that users will know that their market has activity. I can imagine you might have reasons for not wanting to show a history (it's easy to say there were 10,000 jobs), but if increasing user confidence is a goal, I'd still suggest that feature be applied. Thanks for listening.
-
Leslie, I promise we are working on it. It's just not an easy thing to implement and we are fighting a lot of fires right now. Our development resources are completely tapped. Give us a few weeks and it will be a great addition long-term. Also, our job completion count is now at 13,500. We had a couple of quiet days, but they are moving fast again with the new jobs that came through.
-
-
-

-
John - you make a good point. It sounds to me as if Good ole Apple may be at least somewhat inhibiting your ability to manage your business. Seems like the solution might be, in a perfect world, to make the app available only in places where you need agents - the ability to strategically target geographic areas with regard to availibility of the app. If your productivity was down in a certain area, it would be a matter of opening up the app to more agents as you can well imagine. So, I guess my best analysis is Apple is not really helping matters very much.
-
What's funny is that the advertising they are giving us in the App Store is gold for most developers and it's working against us some. We finally dropped off the new and noteworthy section, but popped up in the "What's Hot" section. :)

I think FieldAgent.net is great and everything, however, I have been a member for two days now and I have only received one introductory survey. Is it always this slow for FieldAgent.net to assign surveys/jobs? Exactly how often do you give out surveys? If possible, could you please send me some so I don't get bored with this site? I have the app on my iPod as well, so it travels with me and it'd be great if I had some to do on a regular. Thanks for your time and consideration Have a wonderful week!

I live in Edmond, OK and have completed 4 jobs so far. They are few and far between right now but they have been showing up occasionally. I'm going to give it time. Seems like it could be really fun as soon as businesses start using it more for info.

I agree I have completed 4 jobs so far as well.. They have jobs on their all the time, since I opened my range to 90 miles around... But so far so good!

Yes you have to wait until something comes up in your area.. It took a couple of days or so before something came up in my area, but you can play around with it and change your distance and then more jobs will pop up.. now I am getting jobs regularly.. Good luck!

I live in atlanta, and when i first downloaded the app, no jobs.
But 3hrs later there it goes 1 job, 20minutes away from house at walmart. Then i got home today 3 jobs from walmart with the same question.
i get jobs, but if your using a ipod touch it is pointless. You lose points when using wifi, and i haven't had a survey yet. -
-
Yeah, Field Agent is really focused on the iPhone because of it's tools that the Touch doesn't have. We've never really dodged that point, we've just said that when surveys go into the system, Touch users can do them without any problem.
Sorry for the let down. -

There aren't any jobs within 90 miles of Seattle? Seriously?
Looks like this has been a problem for users for almost three weeks now... -
-
EMPLOYEE
I’m
thankful
Liz, it's been a problem since we hit 50,000 Agents a little over two weeks post-launch. It's a major challenge for us as a new company to supply a million jobs per week to satisfy all Agents at all times. We are certainly doing our best, but it's going to take some time to get there.
Please know that jobs have been completed in Seattle this week. Unfortunately, they were completed before or after you opened the App, so they were not visible to you.
Being in a large city actually works against you finding available work. Right now, it's harder to find jobs in bigger cities because there is more competition between Agents. Big cities have more people and more iPhones, thus more Agents. However, they don't necessarily have more jobs. In fact, Seattle has around 650 Agents. Jobs just won't be in the system very long with that many people wanting to do them.
I'm sorry you weren't able to find any jobs this time around. We are working on an update that will display recently completed jobs. This will help everyone understand that jobs are out there, they have just already been completed.
Thanks for taking the time to write us.-
Thanks for the quick response, John. Good point and the big cities being more competitive.
-
-
-
-
-
Think of this more along the lines of a lottery. You have to be at the right place at the right time kind of scenario. Then, and only then, you can secure the job to grab a lil extra chedda that'll make ya feel betta!
-
-
Could I suggest an update where whenever a job is added it gives a notification for the app? Then if the job is gone the notification leaves? I saw a job listed 3 times and that was the only one. I'm happy to say I completed it. And I have a touch. For those with a touch look for local fast food places with free wifi. I accepted the job from my house and confirmed it at Burger King xD
-
-
Everyone has to understand that it's not Field Agent who creates the jobs. It's the clients that create the jobs. Give it time. I'm satisfied. It's free money for simple tasks. I don't expect 100 jobs every day to show up. The U.S. is a big place. Just take what you can get.
-
-
I just had an idea that might help everyone better understand this problem. In the setting on the app under Job Filter there needs to be a selection for "All Jobs" no matter how far away they are. This way everyone can see that there are jobs being created and available for agents to do. No, I am not expecting anyone to go 500 miles just to do a job, but it would be nice to see that they are out there. On May 25, when it was posted on facebook that there were jobs in the Chicago area, I changed my zip code to a Chicago one just so I could see the jobs. Also maybe some sort of "ticker" on Fieldagent.net that show how many jobs have been done and how many agents there are so everyone can get a better idea of the relationship between jobs and agents. I check for new jobs almost every time I am playing on my phone and have not seen any new jobs for two weeks but still love the app!!!! Just give it time people.
-
-
Is there a known issue with the iPhone 4?
-
-
I have Iphone 4. I have made $65 since downloading the app 2 weeks ago AND I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! There are jobs. I check every 5-10 minutes. OBSESSED@FIELDAGENT. I have the app as one of my 4 in the lower portion of my home screen~! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! DO NOT FIELD AGENT AND DRIVE!!! GET A TOM TOM! ITS DANGEROUS to USE YOU PHONE AND DRIVE! PLEASE DONT!
-
-
I'm in Atlanta, GA. Signed up today. I have seen over 15 jobs available through Wal-Mart and Kroger. The jobs were up and gone within minutes! Got to grab them fast!!!
I accepted and completed one job with Kroger that was less than a mile away from me. Application works great! Now to figure out how getting paid works. -
-
Everyone who is dumbfounded by the lack of jobs in these large cities needs to take a step back and think logically. With high population density and thousands of field agents in an area I'd be willing to bet most jobs posted are accepted within seconds. Checking back a couple times a day, chances are very good that you'll never see a job. This isn't the fault of the company, it's just simple math.
Fortunately I live in an area where AT&T has awful cell service so it's not a popular provider. I made $8.50 on a job less than a mile from my house at the grocery store the other day. I'm at almost $40 cumulative, and I don't check very often for jobs.
The only problems I've run into are iPhone 4's large pictures taking forever to upload with poor cell service (I've run out of time while the picture was uploading) and moving after I take the picture so that the phone thinks I am in the wrong location. In these cases I didn't get paid for the jobs.
I also like the "Agents" threatening to stop using the app if there aren't more jobs available. There is no shortage of agents, and people quitting will only help everyone else...more jobs available for the remaining agents and less complaints to the company about availability of jobs. -
-
Michael,
I liked and agree with your last paragraph. :-)) -
-
I live in a smaller city and try to remember to check it daily, sometimes I get a notification of a job, actually once....I have however accumulated $39.00 so far, all close to me. I have seen other jobs pop up and stay there for some time. These are not worth it for me to drive that far. I hope that it doesn't catch on here...I'm enjoying the excitement of hunting down a product or display...

For what it's worth, those of us in the 'burbs are finding jobs :) I live south of Sarasota, and I frequently find jobs in the Walmarts/Sams Clubs in my area. The jobs in my own town tend to go fast, but because I travel to the closest three towns fairly frequently, I can usually add a Fieldagent job to my trip and it's like gas is paid for!
-
-
I'm in Florida and I have done two jobs. I think they should have a limt to the amount of field agents they accept. Because if u have the agents and not jobs ur new company get a bad name.
-
-
It's amazing that there are so many negative comments for something that is a free opportunity. I believe that if you want more jobs to do you can help encourage more companies to use Field Agent services to audit their company's performance and quality. Field agents have always been in a position of if there's work you have work.
Check the app often and you see the jobs... If you don't want to do that then just delete the app saying work is slow...
Take care all you fellow agents...! -
-
I travel locally for my job (about 90 miles) and have found quite a few jobs. I've had the Iphone and app for 2 weeks, and have already made $40, so thank you Field Agent.
-
I love this app. I found out about it about 5 months ago and have already made $150...woo hoo!! It's like free money :) For all those who are complaining about no jobs available and not wanting to keep checking, well you must not want to make money. I constantly check mine and if no jobs are available I continue to check anyways. You never know. I like the extra money that it is giving me. It allows me to buy things that i normally would never buy just to try in the grocery stores. With this economy, every little bit helps :)

I see a lot of postings about USA but nothing on Canada. I just saw this published on the news yesterday and downloaded the app to give it a try. I'm hoping that this turns into something more readily available here.
I did notice that there was nothing in way of selecting a Country on the profile page. Kind of disappointing when all you can do is enter a Zip but here in Canada we have Postal Codes. Wasn't sure whether it would accept it but it did. I suppose the GPS in the phone helps determine the location as well.
Also, can I suggest the abiltiy to add 2 locations? I work downtown and there might be jobs that come up at lunch time vs. ones in the evening around home. Would be nice if there was an option for 2 locations.
Looking forward to this exciting venture!- view 1 more comment

We are now launched in Canada. Our first jobs will show up on the 22nd.
-
-
Thanks John - I was able to figure that out and be able to register without any issue - but what I meant was that the registration form did not indicate a country which would in most cases change the template from a US form to a Canadian form. US has Zip and States vs. Canada having Postal Codes and Provinces.
Again, just a suggestion for the future to have this on the registration screen would help alleviate any future questions or comments.
I am looking forward to the Canadian launch. And now that I know a date I'll stop refreshing the page a few times a day :)
PS: This was on our local news channel last week and that's what brought me here and to searching for the app in the iPhone app store. -

I live in Calgary, AB - hardly a small city. I refresh constantly to see if there are any jobs, from first thing in the morning to last thing at night and in between - no jobs. I find it hard to believe that there are no jobs being sent here...I've had the app since it was featured on the news here mid-october. What's going on?

The reserved list does work, but it only shows jobs reserved within 90 miles of you, that are specified to a location within 90 miles of you.
If a Client launches a job nationwide, but they only need ~500 responses, the first 500 Agents to reserve the job get it. They won't show up in reserved because they are reserved outside of the 90 mile radius.
Also remember that jobs will only show reserved until they are completed. If it only takes 10 minutes to do a job, that's as long as the job will show up in the reserved box. -

John - does it remove off the reserved list as soon as it is started, or as soon as it is completed? If it's supposed to be when it is completed, then I really think it has not been working. For example, the night of the toy audits, I had just finished the audits at one store and went to reserve the three audits at another store near me. Apparently, somebody else was trying to reserve some at the same time as I was, b/c one of the jobs told me that it was already reserved. I did get two of the jobs but not the third. In that case, I'm pretty certain that the job had JUST been reserved, b/c I was actually able to see it on the list but it had been reserved in the short time before I actually clicked "accept job". However, it never showed up on the "reserved" list. Do you think that perhaps in this case, the person reserved it and then clicked "start job now" and that would have prevented it from ever showing in the reserved list? Also, I'm certain that wasn't a situation like you mentioned about being pulled b/c the number of jobs they needed nationwide was met, as I saw other toy audit jobs still available when I finished that night.
I hope I explained that well. And really, in my case, I'm not too worked up over whether it works or not. I just wanted to help point out a tech issue if there is one. -

I live in a city of ~200,000 people between Toronto and Ottawa (Kingston Ontario) I've had this app installed since it was released in Canada and I have yet to ever see 1 single job. Could anyone tell me if there are even jobs in this area? I'm really getting close to hitting the wiggling X on this app because it's rather disapointing to see nothing, every time I check.

Be patient!!
I downloaded the app about a year ago when it had only been out in the US about six months. There weren't very many jobs, and the ones I did find were $3-$4 jobs that weren't worth doing. When I checked back in April things had improved. Just completed job #350 totaling $1,930 YTD; about 10 jobs, $55/week.
FA has only been active in Canada for less than two months. It will take time to develop the market. However, the amount of work you get is highly dependent on your location. About 65% of my jobs come from Walmart and Sam's. I have 6 of them within 10 miles and 15 within 30 miles. There are about 1,000,000 people in the area. -

I live in inner-city Calgary and I work in various suburban communities and downtown in each quadrant of the city. I check every quadrant every day and I haven't seen one single job, or reserved job, or any other sign of life, since the launch.

When I first downloaded the APP, I got 3 jobs, that was over 4 months ago. To date there has not been a single job in my area, only like 40 miles away. Slightly disapppointed at this time.

The only time I have ever picked up any jobs is when I was near Niagara Falls (ON). The only jobs I pick up in my area (North GTA), are jobs that are 80 miles away in the US.
Odd considering at the same time, a friend about 15 minutes south of me has been able to pick up jobs in my town.
Why can't I pick up any jobs in my home town yet people in other towns are able to view them? -

I too have been a loyal user of this app checking it religiously throughout the day and in various parts of the city during my commute. I live in Winnipeg so you'd think there'd be some jobs by now.
Can someone at the Field Agent respond to this as it does seem there are many other Canadian's willing to do jobs that are not even being posted or available.
I have been very patient and trying / refreshing at least 10 times / day.
Please advise!
Thanks, -

The feelings you all are describing are the same our US Agents had when we first launched a year and a half ago. If you read up this forum, you'll see that they had the same questions and concerns. As I described to one of them:
"Consider the fact that we launched about 3 weeks ago, from scratch. That's scary big math and I seriously doubt any start-up has ever accomplished such a task."
It's very difficult to go from zero to 60 in a couple of weeks. We will slowly increase the number of jobs as we add more Canadian Clients. Within a year, you all will see very consistent jobs flowing. If you look at our Facebook page, we have fewer complaints about not enough jobs now than we had in the past.
We just ask for your patience. If you'd like to take a break and come back in a year, you can certainly do so. However, if you hang in there, you'll see us grow and your earnings will grow with us. -

Nancy - when you see jobs while in Niagara Falls, are they also in the US or on the Canadian side? In other words, have you EVER seen a job posted in Canada or have they always been in the US? Cause I thought I read someone post somewhere about Canadians needing to make sure their phone was set up to the proper country in the phone settings somewhere. Maybe I'm way off on that - not sure.
I was actually wondering about this since my sister lives in Canada & I'm curious if I'll be able to do some jobs there next time I visit her (assuming the number of jobs picks up by then...) -

Nikki is correct. You will either see US jobs or CA jobs. Never both. It's dependent on your phones regional setting.

Did you Vince? I see you just signed up and you got your first job post for Winnipeg? Wow, I've been signed up forever and still nothing. And I refresh the app daily! Who was the job for and what end of town?
