How do I classify my work as an agent?

First, it is important to keep in mind that the opportunities we offer via our Field Agent app is considered contract work. This is not the same as part-time or full-time employment and there are differences between contract work and employment. 

When filling out any forms for the government or other institutions that require you to provide proof of employment, always make sure to ask the institution requiring those forms if contract work is acceptable to include as employment or if they only want part-time and/or full-time employment to be included.

By agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined in our Participation Agreement, all agents using the Field Agent app confirm that they have read and understand their role as a contract worker and what their relationship to Field Agent and our clients is. 

Additionally, by agreeing to the terms and conditions, agents understand the risk of not getting paid if their job is not completed correctly, as it is considered contract work. 

Field Agent Participation Agreement, Section 03. "Your Use of the Platform":

"Provided that the Agent meets the qualifications established by Client for certain Services, if any, Agents may perform Services for any Client in accordance with the specifications submitted by the Client. However, if the Services do not meet the Client's reasonable satisfaction, Field Agent may reject the Services and repost the specific request on behalf of the Client."

For this reason, we do count on agents to read the instructions for each job carefully and understand that if the job is not done correctly, we may not be able to provide compensation because we don't receive payment from our client for incorrect jobs.
