First and foremost, we will NEVER ask you to complete a financial transaction outside of the Field Agent app or your my.Fieldagent.net account online.
The Field Agent app is the only place to find, reserve, and complete Field Agent jobs. All our data is collected through the app, and agent payouts are facilitated only through the app.
If anyone asks you to complete a job or a financial transaction by a means other than the Field Agent app, it's not Field Agent.
While we may contact you about jobs through email or text, we will always direct you to the app to complete the work. Field Agent will never ask you to make payments, wire funds, or cash checks.
All communications will be from a "fieldagent.net" email address.
Read the email address carefully. Some scammers misspell the domain name or leave out a vowel.
Don't blindly trust a logo.
Logos are easy to pull from websites. An email or letter with the Field Agent logo does not make it legitimate.
Keep your personal information private.
Question everything: emails, direct mail, phone calls, social media messages. These scammers know how to look and can sound very legitimate. They can even create fake logos, pictures, websites, and social media accounts. Be skeptical out there.
What to do if you're targeted for a scam:
Stop and report it.
If you have already received checks or money orders from a scammer, you can report it to the National Consumers League via their online complaint form. In addition, you can report scams to the United States Post Office and the Federal Trade Commission.
