Project FAQ: On Shelf Availability Audit

Below are a few helpful Frequently Asked Questions. 

If a brand product has multiple facings, only count (& turn) one of the facings around.

• The below example shows the same product/tag with multiple facings.  If the correct price tag is under a product with multiple facings, that is ok! Again, we just want to make sure the shelf tag matches the corresponding product(s). 

What should I do if the shelf tag is incorrect for a brand product with multiple facings? Only turn around the product that is directly above the price tag. If the shelf tag/product you found is incorrect - like below! 

• The below example had two facings; however, you only need to count & turn around one.
  

What should I do if the product is present but the shelf tag is missing?  This counts as incorrect! Please turn the product around (backwards) and make note of this in your final incorrect count. 

What should I do if the product is missing but the shelf tag is present?  Please ignore out-of-stock products. We are ONLY interested in available products with incorrect or missing shelf tags! 

We recommend using the following information to compare shelf tag vs product matches:

• UPC number
• Product description

• Be sure to keep the incorrect shelf tag products turned around. This will help you with a total count in this question. The next question will ask for a photo of the entire shelf section showing the turned-around products - if there are any!
