Is there a difference between the 'Eye Spy' & the 'Scavenger Hunt' categories of jobs?

    Hi @amanda!
These 2 programs are very similar.  The key differences are the amount of detail that we receive from Clients and thus are able to provide for our Agents in their search.  There are several subtle differences, but by and large the goal is to find the products requested that match the UPC #.

I see the differences, but the first commenter was right. They are very very subtle

The UPC changed on a lot if your products. When will you update your system. When I went to the store the UPC was not found so I know people that work for the store and they said in the bakery when they change or add new ingredients the upc changes. How will you handle that on the future. Many other products and brands are the same way.

Hi @Demetria, Thank you for the comment here.
You are correct that there are regularly many different UPCs that may be in circulation at any given time.  The Client is looking for the specific UPC requested.  If our Agents can locate the exact item matching the UPC, the Client will pay for those photos of the item. There may be many other 'close matches' but those are not the items the Client is looking for.

This other help article can also be helpful:

What if the product details appear to match perfectly but the UPC is different in my Eye Spy or Scavenger Hunt Job?

    I hope that this helps!

@Demetria yes what you are saying is correct!!!
I just read in a group chat for shoppers that changing one ingredient changes the UPC on the product and that's why the companies are wanting us to find the product on the shelf to see if older version of the product is still on the shelf or if it is just the newer version. Someone that worked in retail suggested that they have a lot of luck finding the right UPCs if they dig around on the shelf or go to an endcap or clearance area or if they dig to the bottom of a bin.
