Welcome to Field Agent! We want you to be successful from the get-go, so take a look below to familiarize yourself with the app.
Navigating the App
Your agent dashboard is always visible to you at the bottom of your app, so that you can toggle easily between the different pages you will be using. We'll walk through these different pages you will be using.
Navigation Menu Key Items
Search - Search available jobs in your area
Active - Access your current reservations that still need to be completed
Earnings- See the status of your completed jobs, cash-out, and manage your connected bank account
Explore - Access helpful articles in our FAQ (Where you can also reach out to our support line) or read fun articles and insights from our FA team "in the scoop". You can also check out our monthly sweepstakes under "tickets".
Account - This tab has a lot inside! View your profile info, invites, notifications from Field Agent, and Settings.
Searching for and Reserving Jobs
Basic Job Search
- Navigate to the Find Jobs screen
Upon opening the app, you will typically start on the Find Jobs screen. If you are in another screen, tap the "search" magnifying glass in the bottom left of your app. - Tap around to explore
Tap a job category to reveal all available jobs in that category. - Select a job to see available locations
- Select a job location to review the job details
- Read the job details overview and hit "Accept This Job"
Once you accept the job:
you will have the option to complete the job at that moment or search for another job. To complete reserved jobs, "active" button on the bottom menu of your app. You can also view how much time you have left by checking the countdown displayed to the right of the job.
Customize Your Job Search
The top right button will toggle a menu to customize your job search options. Select or update your preferences as you wish. You can also access your "hidden jobs" from this menu. For more on these, please reference our other help article on this here
Using the Map to Find Jobs
In the Find jobs screen, select Map for a different view. Click on a pin icon to view the jobs available at that location. Click on one of these available jobs to view the details for that job. Remember to always double-check the address of the job listed.
Targeted Search Feature
In addition to our other search features, you can target search a specific area. Simply use your fingers to scroll away from the area you are currently searching. You will see an orange target come up eventually. Move this target over a new area and click "Search this area" to move your job search to another area!
Job Details
Whether you use the "Jobs" or "Map" view, once you have found the job type and location that you want, clicking into that job will bring you to the job details page. Please read all instructions carefully and only accept if you are able to complete the job as described.
Things to pay attention to:
Location Required - You must visit the address listed on the job during business hours. If the location says "United States of America," you don't have to go to a specific address. Just follow the instructions on where to complete.
Time Allowed - Once you accept the job, you are limited to this amount time to complete and submit the job (2 hours is typical). Read the instructions carefully for other possible time restrictions.
Payment - This is the amount you will earn for an approved submission. This amount varies by location and job requirements.
Job Overview - Read carefully before accepting any job. The job overview includes very important information about the job.
Job Categories
Our most common jobs fall into the categories of Audits, Mystery Shops, and At-Home Surveys. Category names vary, but basic descriptions are included in the category header.
Ratings & Reviews and Buy & Try jobs
For these jobs you will most often be asked to purchase a product (Online, Pickup, or in-store). Usually you will be offered full reimbursement for your purchase unless otherwise stated; be sure to check the job instructions as some jobs only offer partial reimbursement. Jobs with full or partial reimbursement will have the stack of coins icon with the arrow around it next to them as shown below. This reimbursement is in addition to the green bounty listed in the job to the left of the icon.
Unique Job Categories
We do have some jobs that are different from the rest. These require careful attention to Agent instructions and job requests.
Here are some examples:
Ticket Jobs - They don't pay money, but can qualify you for paying jobs or train you for success. Completion enters you into a monthly drawing.
Precision Required - Strict photo requirements. Higher difficulty. Read instructions thoroughly!
Scavenger Hunts - These are NOT typical surveys, audits or mystery shops. You only get paid if you find the requested item.

In regards to the reimbursement symbol; is there a difference between one symbol that is grey and one that is green?
@joe, I believe that you are referencing the earnings page. When a cash out is made, the earnings and reimbursements before that cashout date will turn grey. The green amounts generally reflect what has yet to be cashed out.
@kim, Hello! If you'd like to checkout jobs all around you, I encourage you to adjust your radius to 90 miles so that you can see any all jobs in your area. Then you can reduce that search radius to the area that you would realistically travel to.
Additionally, make sure that you have your search settings to search near you rather than specific zip codes.
How come I cannot see any tasks in my area

Hi hi! Yes, we choose a winner each month. You can see the history of winners dating back to April of 2017 in the app. Go to the app, then Explore Tab > My Tickets > History (link in top right).
We also post the winner each month in a story on Instagram.
